Great opportunity coming up!

Hello VI Form -

Great news! Next Monday, September 29th, you will have a free day to
finish your first college application. You have, through your hard work
and focus, already become the first form in SAS history to have your
Common Apps done at this point. Now, this first-time-ever opportunity will
allow you to complete your first supplement.

The college counselors will be available downstairs during that morning.
You are not required to be any particular place at any particular time;
just know we are available to help. Remember that the school computers
will all be in use, so if you do not have a laptop plan ahead to borrow
one (with permission of course!) from an underform friend.

In addition to the usual filling out forms and writing essays, here are
some questions you will seek to answer and then do as you prepare your
application:

1. How exactly do I submit both the Common App and the supplement? Are
they both electronic? Do I need to print one or both out? If the latter,
do I have the right stamps and envelopes?

2. How do I pay for the application? Do I need to get a check from my
parents? Or can I use / do I need a credit card number?

3. If I am applying early, is there a statement (usually for early
decision) that requires a parent and/or a counselor's signature?

4. Am I sending along an arts supplement, and if so, how am I doing so?

5. How can I print (or better, electronically save as a pdf) a copy before
I send?

Congratulations again on being ahead of the game already, and we look
forward to the whole Form having the most rewarding, most relaxed
application process we've yet seen!

Your allies,

The college counselors
