Many of you are very close to deciding which college you wish to attend,
and we send you a hearty congratulations!! This coming weekend is a great
time to communicate to those acceptances that you are definitely not
selecting. Please find the reply cards for each college and mail your
decision to those for which you are certain. Your reply may open the door
for another student eager to get off of a waitlist.
If you are working a waitlist, please write a note or email to the
admissions office expressing your keen desire to attend. Simultaneously,
it is a good idea to update them on activities and academics such as your
senior tutorial. Interest is the key to success on waitlists!! Your
college counselor is happy to proof any such emails.
Making your deposit: Once you are certain where you will attend, it is
important to fill out the reply card and attach your deposit. If you need
your parents' assistance with this, please make sure they have the
necessary paperwork from your acceptance packet. The absolute deadline for
deposits is May 1, but college admissions offices are eager to know your
thinking as soon as you are able. Please don't procrastinate until April
30th.
