Do you feel that the SAT does not adequately represent your abilities?
Do you dislike its format of flipping back and forth between math and
critical reading?
Do you dislike predicting when to guess and when not to?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you may be a great candidate for
the ACT. The majority of students who have tried both prefer the format
of the ACT.
The next date for the ACT Plus Writing is June 14th - two weeks after you
have gotten home. Speak to your college counselor about the
appropriateness of you trying this alternate testing path, and learn more
about what it entails. We have booklets in the college resource room that
illustrate sample ACT questions.
Note- the registration deadline for the June ACT is May 9 (a week away).
