Believe it or not, start thinking about summer activities now!

Hello V Form -

Some summer thoughts from your allies in the college counseling office:

-Full-time work is better than part-time work.
-If you are serious about your athletics, ask your coaches about summer
camps.
-If you are into science, doing summer research is awesome. Ask a
counselor and/or a science teacher about this possibility.
-Summer classes can be great if they are really interesting classes,
demanding, and you intend to dig into them. If you are choosing between
summer classes and full-time work or research, consider the full-time work
or research seriously. Come and talk to us.
-Should I pay for an expensive summer trip? Think about the possibilities
above seriously before you consider this option. If the trip is pretty
inexpensive and involves you in serious community service and/or language
learning, you may want to consider it seriously. If it is more of a tour,
perhaps consider other alternatives first.

We hope this helps and starts you thinking! Come on down - we are always
excited to talk summer plans.
